Indian car maker Maruti Suzuki has started taking orders for its upcoming Ciaz Sedan across India.

The mid-sized sedan will come in two engine variants: a 1.3 liter DDiS 200 diesel engine and 1.4 liter K14 VVT petrol engine.

The company claims that its diesel variant will be fuel efficient car with efficiency of 26.21 kmpl , and the petrol variant will provide 20.73 kmpl.

The Ciaz Sedan measures 1.73 meters in width and 1.48 meters in height, and it has 510-litres of luggage area, making it a spacious car.

The car features Anti-lock Braking System with Electronic Brake-force Distribution, for an enhancing the driving experience and safety.

It also features 7-Inch touch-screen infotainment system that can be connected through user's smartphone.

For a comfortable ride Maruti has also used Rear AC and automatic climate control that has dust & pollen filter.

Customers willing to buy the car have to book the car with an advanced payment of $346.
